MICROVOID — Swarm Without a Brain
Guide a glowing swarm of microrobots through a dark bio-mechanical world.
You do not control the robots directly.
You shape the environment — and they find their own way.
──────────────────────────────────────
HOW IT WORKS
Hold your finger or cursor to create a field.
The swarm reacts on its own — through physics, shape, and emergence.
No AI. No commands. Just matter responding to force.
⚡ ATTRACT — gently pull the swarm into formation
🛡 REPEL — push robots around walls and danger zones
🌀 SWIRL — spin the swarm into a spiral current
──────────────────────────────────────
YOUR GOAL
Deliver 65% of your swarm to the living target cell.
The fewer inputs you use, the higher your efficiency score.
★★★ Master of the Field
★★☆ Competent Operator
★☆☆ Chaotic, but alive
──────────────────────────────────────
TARGET TYPES
🟢 STABLE CELL — stationary, forgiving
🟣 MOVING CELL — drifts across the field, requires timing
🟠 SICK CELL — behind obstacles, needs precise routing

INSPIRED BY REAL SCIENCE
In 2025, scientists at Leiden University (Netherlands) 3D-printed microrobots just 5 micrometres wide — smaller than a human hair — that swim and navigate obstacles autonomously, with no onboard computer or brain.
Their behavior emerges entirely from the feedback between shape and motion.
This game is a playable version of that idea.
