PROSPERITY
PROSPERITY
What if the goal wasn't to bankrupt your friends?
PROSPERITY is a cooperative economic board game inspired by Elizabeth Magie's original The Landlord's Game (1904). Instead of rewarding monopoly, it challenges players to build a society where prosperity is shared.
Features
๐๏ธ Build a growing city together
๐ฑ Buy land and develop production
๐ค Invest in public buildings
๐ฐ Progressive land tax and social support
๐ Live inequality (Gini) indicator
โ ๏ธ Economic crises and city-wide strikes

The Goal
Everyone wins only when the least wealthy player doubles their starting wealth.
Greed may make one player rich, but if inequality grows too much, the city stops working.
Inspired by History
Elizabeth Magie created The Landlord's Game to demonstrate how different economic systems produce different outcomes.
This project is an original modern interpretation inspired by that historical idea.
